Darius DeWerff '23 Recruiting Profile

I’ve been playing soccer for as long as I can remember and it has always been a dream to play at the professional level. Whether that comes true or not, I will continue to work hard to achieve my goals and play soccer for as long as possible. I have been told I am very coachable and one of my strongest attributes is my work ethic. I’m willing and always try my best to put in the extra work and leave it all on the field until the final whistle. This is because I strongly believe in movement off the ball and know that hard work creates opportunities for improvement. I’m also a versatile player and can effectively use both feet. I’ve played as a center back and outside back for club when needed, but often play as an attacking midfielder and forward. In the future, I hope to work with a professional soccer team as a physio/physical therapist or kinesiologist.
