Ethan McCormick '21 Recruiting Profile

Like most kids I too have dreamt of growing up and being an athlete in college and in the pros. For me as a kid growing up it didn't matter what sport I played I just wanted to do something I love and be able to give back. Now I'm a teenager who's focused on soccer and instead of it being a dream it has become a personal goal of mine. My grandpa passed away in fifth grade, My mom passed away right in front of me at the hospice house after a 22 month battle with Glioblastoma Multiforme brain cancer. I've e definitely had my fair share of ups and downs in life, but I believe everything happens for a reason and you can either get up and let the hard things in life make you stronger or you can stay down, become weaker and let it defeat you. It's the hard things in my life that drive me everyday to not only work towards my goal of getting a scholarship but also being the best person I can be, doing what is right, and living for those that aren't with us anymore.
