Andrew Cowart '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches,

       My name is Andrew Cowart, I Graduated in 2019 and I am taking a gap year to do missionary work with the Regnum Christi Mission Corps. I was home schooled and during high school I took dual enrollment classes at SOWELA Technical university and McNeese State University. I am currently interested in studying Civil Engineering. I have the same mentality in school as in soccer, which is to give my all in everything I do and make sure that what i do is done right not just fast. When i make mistakes in school and on the field I work harder than before to improve on the mistake. I am easily coached, I pay attention to what the coach wants and I execute it as perfectly as I can. I take every chance that I can to improve myself in every aspect of my life. Although my primary positions are attacking and defensive mid-fielder, I am very flexible on the field, I can play any position (excluding goalie) that my coaches need me to play. I have six years of experience playing club soccer and four years of experience playing Varsity for my home school team, so my skills are advanced but there is always room for improvement. Seeing the field and understanding how plays will unfold comes naturally to me and I have good first touch and passing. I may be thin for my height, but i am as strong on the ball as the biggest man in play. I have no fear on the field and I will do everything that I can to get to any and all 50/50 balls. If you choose to recruit me then I will give you 100% of my effort in every drill, practice, and game.
