Arguably the greatest movie franchise of all time, the character Rocky Balboa has always been a hero of mine for the simple reason that he recognizes that life will beat him down, but rather than succumb to the pain he revels in the hardship to prevail and go to whatever lengths are necessary to make it to the top. With this in mind, I've realized that my goal is to play at the collegiate level, and potentially beyond. Knowing this I try to absorb as much knowledge about the game as I can at practices, games, and when training alone. I also carry this ideology into the classroom pushing myself to my academic limits. Overall, I hope to find a school that is both challenging academically and athletically that will force me to work to the limit and beyond.
