November 2012Personal Statement
My name is Drew Bois, I live in Fairfield, Maine where I attend Lawrence High School as a junior. I am 6'0" and am mainly a Center Midfielder. I have played soccer since I was six years old and have continued to play premier league soccer since I was 12 years old. I have played high school soccer each year, played varsity as a freshman and started varsity as a sophomore, junior and senior. During my junior season I was an all-conference 2nd team selection. I have been a varstiy athlete of both indoor and outdoor Track and Field since freshman year so I stay in top shape.
There is nothing I want more than to play college soccer at a high level. I work extremely hard and soccer is my passion. I was a captain for my CMU premier soccer team for two years and for my U-18 Seacoast United premier team so I know what it is like to be a leader.
I am unsure about where I would like to attend college exactly, most likely in the Northeast region or possibly more south. I am looking for a medium sized school, considering all three divisions. I have a distinct idea of what I may want to study for a major which would be Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, Excercise Science or Kinesiology. Also I am an High Honors/Honors Student.

- I am going to Manchester, England for training with professional coaches and then to Barcelona, Spain to compete in the Copa Catalunya Tournament. In Manchester we played an English College team and won 5-2. In the tournament we were 1-2-1. Lost to a german team 2-1, lost to an Italian team 3-2, beat an Italian team 1-0 and tied an Italian team 0-0.
