Personal Statement

Being able to play at the collegiate level is a huge goal for me. I have always been interested in playing at a higher level and it would be an honor to be able to do so. At the collegiate level, I would like to be the best player I could be not only personally, but for my team and coaches. I would make sure to put everything I had on the line day in and day out to assure that I was being the best player I could be at all times. As a soccer player, and in everyday life, I make sure to always challenge myself in all aspects to assure that I can constantly grow and improve. There is always room for growth so I never settle for what I already have, but instead I train and work on perfecting the task at hand.

Throughout my soccer career, I have played on many different club teams and school teams. For each of these teams, I have made sure to bring all that I can to the table. For my River City U17 team, I focused and trained hard every single day and earned a spot as team captain. We then went on to have a positive record during the regular season and win a tournament championship in New Hampshire. For my winter club team, I was so dedicated to the game of soccer that I put together a team with a few of my former teammates to compete at a local indoor winter league. During this league we ranked second in regular season and proceeded to make it to playoffs where we played in the championship game and beat the #1 seed to win it all.

I work to show the same commitment and leadership off the field as I do on the field. At the age of 14, I decided that I wanted to set myself apart from others. I didn’t want to have to wait until I was 16 to work. So, with this ambition, my friend and I started our own car detailing business. We have now been doing it for over 3 years and it has taught me many life lessons that I will carry with me throughout my life.

With all of this being said, if you are a coach or scout reading this, I can assure you that I will bring much more than just my soccer skills to your team. I will bring my leadership, commitment and full dedication every single day on and off the field. I am ready for the next step in my future, my education, and my collegiate soccer career.
