Hi, my name is Matt Lauer and I inspire and work to improve myself in and off the field. I strive to be the player you want for your team. I would like to study education with a focus on history. Having Dsylexia has helped me to be a hard worker and focused student. I understand that hard work pays off in the classroom and on the field. Soccer is a team sport and not a one man show. I understand the importance of having strong team relationships and trust- without them we can’t play our best and improve as a team. (This philosophy has helped my High School team win the Baltimore County soccer championships the last 2 years)
I believe in helping the kids in my community. I have volunteered over 80 hours in a local kindergarten class, helped do Soccer skill training with a 3rd grade team, and officiated futsol and Recreational soccer for Catonsville Rec and Parks, as well as pre-season training and evaluations for recreational baseball.
