Thomas Strong '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was four years old. Soccer is my passion and being a part of the team is a privilege. Since an early age, my dream to play college soccer has grown throughout the years and I realize the effort, determination, and commitment needed to succeed. Every practice and game I give everything I have to do my best for my team. My parents have modeled for my sisters and me that hard work, commitment, taking the initiative and establishing strong bonds are important values as a person and as part of a family and part of a team.

I have speed, agility, endurance, strength, quick feet, great passing skills and field smarts that has benefited me consistently with outplaying my opponents. I enjoy working closely with my coaches and teammates to grow both individually and as a team. I am very coachable, welcoming and seeking feedback to quickly incorporate on the field. I am a team leader and try to set an example for the rest of my peers, on and off the field. I am a great encourager and try to offer positive motivation to my teammates. I am currently the captain of my club team and have been an active leader on my Varsity high school team. I believe that giving our best at all times and putting in the effort at all times is critical to our growth and success, both athletically and academically. I continue to seek opportunities for development, recently selected to the Maryland ODP team for the second year in a row.

In the classroom, I study very hard and have a 3.33 GPA. I would like to attend a college where I can challenge myself both academically and athletically. I want to find the college that is a best fit for me, academically and athletically. I desire to play at the highest level possible, positively influencing my teammates, my classmates and friends. Above all else, I aspire to become a successful student, athlete, and role model.
