Soccer, and athletics generally, has always been very cathartic, I've played soccer since I was 3, and started off in Germany with the presence of family members. Having lived in both countries, my mother a native of Germany, and my late father an American national, I have developed and experienced socialization with these cultural influences. Soccer has taught me many things, the importance of composure and communication, the utility of leadership and structure, and the gratifying nature of humility and confidence. I was also explicitly raised with the concept that academics is just as crucial as my performance on the field, and I maintain a rigorous schedule and achieve highly scholastically, as a motivated young man.
