Tyler Thompson '22 Recruiting Profile

I have been a primary contributor on every team I have played on since I was 8 years old and I have done this by understanding the game better than my peers, being versatile enough to play any position, and never being outworked on the field.  My coaches and teammates count on me to perform in pressure situations be it 1:1 defensive situations at center back, winning possession and advancing play as CDM, or on set pieces in the opponents' 18.  My coaches will also tell you that I am strong leader, not always by being highly vocal, but always in the way that I play the game and support my teammates.

I am a very strong student, take pride in my academic achievements, and believe that achieving my best in the classroom is just as important, if not more, than achieving it on the field.  I am seeking a college experience that is academically rigorous, but will also enable me to continue developing skills and playing the game that I love.
