Personal Statement

I am French-American 10th grader, currently playing for an MLS youth academy. As a defensive midfielder who can also play box to box or even as an attacking mid, I've been a regular starter 2 years straight for my academy, the Boston Bolts. My passion for soccer dates back to when I was four years old. Ever since, it has transformed itself into more than just a hobby, but a way of life. This sport has motivated me, forced me out of my comfort zone, fostered my competitive spirit, and helped me develop a growth mindset. This sport has pushed me to grasp any opportunity that has the potential to help me improve as a soccer player and person.

Keeping in mind that education has always been of utmost importance for me, focusing on my studies as well as athletics has always been my rule of thumb. My dream is to attend a university or college that challenges me both academically and athletically. I believe that I can bring dedication, competitiveness, leadership, passion, and kindness to your school's soccer program, as well as its campus life. I truly hope to positively impact your soccer team and college environment, in the best possible way.
