2017 High School ...Personal Statement
When I was 3 my dad put me in cleats, gave me a ball, and set me loose on the YMCA youth soccer field. Since then, my friends, siblings, and I have been playing soccer together, pushing each other and growing technically, tactically, and tenaciously. I hope to compete both academically and athletically in college, as I strive to be the top of the class and a leader on the field.
I have been playing club soccer for 8 years on various teams, winning a National Cup title with LFC in the summer of 2017. I played as a swing between varsity and JV freshman year, became a starter sophomore year, and was leading scorer this past year. Next year I hope to lead my team to a state cup title as a captain.
