Playing on a varsity team with a 1-15 winning record may be damaging to the aspirations and dreams for devoted student athletes. However, being a self-driven athlete, I am motivated by the failures of my team and ultimately my own failures to become a better player and a better captain. It is easy to be judged by the people around you, and in the case of a student athletes the players around you. Personally, I find playing on a team with such a record beneficially challenging. Each year, my leadership skills are put to the test, along with my individual prowess as a soccer player. Overcoming the challenges my team offers is an experience I would trade for no other. Many other athletes may have similar academics and aspirations as mine, but they have not had to overcome such a rigorous challenge. College soccer will allow me to prove myself in more ways than I can imagine. Becoming a captain for the Massachusetts All-Star North team is not my maximum potential, that I know for sure. College soccer will also supply my desire for becoming part of something bigger than me, a team which I can rely on and help push to become the best I can be.

- Tournament for all of Northern Mass cities to compete. There were 5 rounds; final three were the knock out stages and the first two contributed to placement. My team, Lynn, took third place in the Tournament, loosing in the second round of the knock out stages.

- For the 2019 fall varsity soccer season, a lead a captains training session, where athletes who wanted to join the team and those wishing to improve their skills could practice twice a week for 3 hours. My previous training included personal strength and skill improvement with Ryan Lowe (League Two English League forward).
