Sports have altered my life. I have competed in club soccer for more than 5 years. The experience in club soccer has increased my level of play as I bring my skills into High School soccer. I am a varsity player from Freshman year and received the MVP award from my coach for Sophomore year. For Freshman and Sophomore year we were unable to make the state tournament in our division. This has fueled myself to make a mark in High School, and pushing for a chance in the state tournament. Soccer as well as lacrosse has taught me to have a strong work ethic. When I play the 80 minutes in High School soccer, I have learned to overcome any tired feeling that impedes my thoughts. This builds my perseverance.
I seek a strong education while playing soccer at the collegiate level. I am enrolled in Honors courses as well as an AP course. Being able to maintain steady grades and soccer can support time management for college. With experience in from leadership conference and strong work ethic, I am able to balance soccer as well as academic studies. I am willing to work to maintain this balance.
