Nike Personal Statement
Dear coaches, I am Uluğ Yeniley. Firstly I want talk about my athletic past. I am playing sports since when i was start to walk. First I did play professionall tennis for 7 years and while doing that I also did swimming. And i did play soccer for Galatasaray in 2013 -2014. I think tennis have huge contributions to my soccer as agility, speed, reflex. Then i started to swimming and running ( Modern Pentathlon ) in middle school and i always pushed my self hard in tranings then i went national finals for 4 years. Then i started to play soccer again and got some offers from super league teams as Başakşehir and Alanyaspor. But when did corona pandemic break out i started to do track and field bc it is the only sport u can train outside and national team facilities that were open( bc of pandemic ). I worked hard in traning. Despite to corona i did continue to go to trainings with public transport and I putted my health on the line. But in the conclusion track and field helped me lot with my coordination, pace and training discipline. And i went to national finals in 60m, and international races in Ukraine. After that when teams started to train again i continued to soccer.
On the other hand in academic way. I think i am very hardworking student athlete. In academics part i was always a perfect hardworking student with my grades in school and activities outside school like charity work, robotic competition and more. I have honor and merit rewards in school. Average makes me uncomfortable and i always push my self hard to be the best in class and out of class. And bc of my athletic past I am very strict on trainings and my lessons. And my performance is consistent. In soccer i can create goal threats and I can score or make someone score when my team need me to do. Also I can play team game perfectly. If u give me a chance I will give my %100 effort and dedication to school and my team. Thank you for reading hole paragraph i hope I can prove my self to you coach. Currently taking postgraduate year in Northfield Mount Hermon.
