During my freshman year, my team could not win many games. I was mostly focussed on getting playing time, but once the season was over I knew I wanted to play at a higher level. I decided to look into different schools that would challenge me athletically, but also academically. Pushing myself to play and learn at the next level is something I am always striving to do and I am planning on continuing to do so in college.
I have played soccer since I was 3 years old, and it has taught me so many lessons that are going to stick with me for the rest of my life. It has taught me how to be structured, how to be a leader, and how to work together with others. As I look for colleges, I want to find the school that will challenge me in soccer, in school, and also as a person. I have become a more determined and well rounded person through soccer, and that is something I want to continue improving upon at the college level.
