Antonio Dutra Africano '23 Recruiting Profile

My goal growing up was to always play soccer at the next level. My older sister was an amazing player but she failed to find success at the college level. This motivated me to work harder on the field and in the classroom so I could do what she couldn't.  Im a great candidate for your team because i'm a hard working athlete with a drive to improve and grow as a player as well as achieve my academic goals. Im different from other recruits because i've been playing/ watching soccer my entire life so I have a greater understanding of the game. Im also a highly competitive player with a drive to succeed on and off the field.  My competitive drive came from growing up with three highly skilled siblings when it came to soccer so we pushed each other to work harder and get better at the game. Ive been playing club level soccer since I was seven and was starting varsity as a freshman.  Everyday I strive to improve as a soccer player and thats why id be a great candidate for your team.
