My name is Seth Massotti and I am a senior at Whitinsville Christian School (WCS) in Northbridge, Massachusetts. Since entering high school, I have been a four year varsity member at WCS. WCS plays in the Dual Valley Conference (DVC). As a junior was a team captain and led my team in scoring with 13 goals and 15 assists for 28 points. I led the DVC in scoring. I was my team's MVP and I was voted top 3 player in the league. I was a 1st Team All-League selection, a Central Massachusetts All-Star, and an All-State selection. Due to a wrist injury at the beginning of my sophomore season, I was only able to play in 8 games. However, in those 8 games, I was able to register 30 shots, scored 4 goals and notch 2 assists for 6 points. This was good for 2nd place on the team. As a freshman, I started all 18 games as an attacking center midfielder. I was the team's leading scorer with 10 goals and 9 assists. I was selected Second Team All-League for the 2017 season. I was the highest ranked freshman in the league and only 1 of 2 freshman in the league to be named All-League. Finally, I was selected by the MaxPreps/United Soccer Coaches High School as a Player of the Week for the week of October 23 - October 29, 2017. I was the Massachusetts recipient and 1 of 26 players to receive this award nationwide. My career scoring numbers are 24 goals and 26 assists for 50 points in 44 games.
When I am not playing for WCS, I play club soccer for the FC Bolts Soccer Club (Central Region). In 2019, my team finished 2nd in the NPL B and are going to be promoted to NPL A for next year. As a forward for the Bolts, I led the team in scoring with 6 goals and 8 assists for 14 points.
In the 2018 spring season, my Bolts team finished in 1st place in the league and was promoted to the NPL B for 2019. Also in 2018, my team won both the Needham Memorial Day Tournament as well as the 2018 US Youth Soccer Massachusetts State Cup. We advanced to the US Youth Soccer Region 1 Championships in Virginia where we advanced to the semi-finals, finishing 3rd. I played forward for the Bolts in 2018.
I truly love the game of soccer that I've been playing since I was 5 years old. My dream is to play soccer at the college level and I am committed to doing whatever it takes to get to that level.
