Lucas Venegas cabrera '21 Recruiting Profile

One thing that I find important in not just my playing style, but for what I look for in teams is teamwork. Yes I want to be the best soccer player. Yes I want to score goal like Ronaldo, but in the end, I focus on playing as a team. What I tend to do is if I cannot find an opening to shoot, I restart and pass it back. I rely on my teammates and make sure my teammates can rely on me, even if I am not as good as them. 

My goal is to play College soccer and hopefully do good enough to go professional. Soccer is something I love to do and if I can make money doing it, then that will be the best job.

What makes me different from other players is motivating others even when I feel unmotivated and building up a bond with players with not just from my team, but with the opposing team too. I always think that knowing the enemy and becoming friends with them will not only improve myself as a player, but to allow me to have fun during in a match

When it comes to my academics, I am average. I am skilled with some subjects, and I am bad at others. I work hard on academics even if it means putting a day of soccer aside
