Personal Statement
2018-2019 MAFC Season, will always be remembered to me as one of the greatest seasons in my early soccer career. The reason this season means so much to me is because In our start of our outdoor season we played a team that was not only dirty but also tried to break us apart by trash talking and shoving when the refs weren't looking, but the one thing our coach really taught us during this game is to play as a team and play the way we play, with class. We lost 1-2. It taught me self control and how to not let them get in my head. The loss really got me thinking and wanting to give 110% every practice; from learning tactics and opening up, to working on touches and setting up scoring opportunities. We had gone on to make it to State Cup. We versed some of the best rated teams in Michigan. With my teammates, I gave my all showing our coach just how hard working we are willing and can be. I feel like without learning that lesson on how competitive soccer truly is, I wouldn’t have found my drive and passion to put my everything on the line. Making it to State Cup is my greatest achievement in my soccer career and I can’t wait to make many more!
