Coach,

My goal is to be able to get a scholarship in soccer as well as academics so that I can get a great college education to set myself up for success in my future. I am good candidate to be on your team because I am a team player, I listen, work hard, and always try and get better.  I am a strong academic student but what I am most proud of is that I am working on being a well rounded person.  I was the lead role in my school play this year, I was the President of National Junior Honor Society, started as point guard on my school basketball team, broke our track team's 7th grade 800 Meter Race and sang a solo in our school choir.   I am truly looking forward to the opportunity of playing soccer at the college level, it has been a goal of mine since I was 8 years old. I hope to hear from you.
