Personal Statement

Coaches- I am the goalie for the Nationals Union ECRL team.  I have been playing soccer for most of my life.  I have been the starting goalie for my teams for the past 5 years. Regarding my club team, we will be playing in the regional playoffs near St. Louis Missouri on June 16-18, 2023, with desires to compete in the upcoming national playoffs. I have an hour drive to and from my practices which shows my dedication.

 

I just finished my sophomore year of high school and will now get into the mindset to continue my club training for the playoffs and for my high school summer conditioning and practices. For the past 5 years, I have attended goalie and other soccer camps (in Michigan and in Casa Grande Arizona) to maintain my goalie edge during the summer months. This year, the soccer goalie owner/coach has asked me to be an assistant coach for him. 

 

I am righthanded for both throwing and kicking but can use either hand or foot to get away from pressure situations. Before punting the ball, I evaluate the field and decide to either build from the back to create plays or look for the gunner for a quick score.  I'm very competitive and hate to lose but learn from each loss.

 

I am looking for an opportunity to continue my education in higher learning and to use my abilities in soccer for college and or a university with larger aspirations.

  • Was selected to participate from the FC Barcelona US camp held in Brighton MI (July 2019) to attend the Barcelona Soccer Experience in Barcelona Spain as a Goalkeeper. Attended the soccer experience in Barcelona and participated in the training sessions with FC Barca coaches and trainers in the mornings and then participated in friendly games against Spanish boys soccer teams in the evenings or night games. Played goalkeeper record (2/1/1) for the team I was selected for but then was asked and play goalkeeper for another boys US soccer team.
