Growing up I naturally was attracted to sports like any other kid. When my dad first introduced me to soccer i fell in love. Almost everyday i was outside kicking the ball around trying to teach myself new skills. Now at the age of 16 I'm still in love with it. I've been play for over eleven years going through many different clubs. I started off at AYSO playing with my friends and having fun, but there wasn't much competition so my parents and I decided to find out more on travel soccer. While I was in seventh grade I found my current team National Boys 00 MSPSP Black, where we went on to win quite a few showcase championships. Even though I am two years younger than my teammates, I had the opportunity to play up two years due to the coach noticing how advanced my skills were for my age. I feel this gave me the edge I needed for my high school career.
Last year, as a Freshman, I had my first high school season. I was the starting Left-winger on JVA and lead the team as top assister. This past season, as a Sophomore, I was the captain of the JVA team and we ended up with a record of 13-2-4. MY season didn't end there I got promoted to Varsity for districts where we lost our first game and were knocked out. Even at my banquet the Varsity coach said " The one thing that stands out about this player is his free kicks. you could put the ball in any position and he could put it wherever you need it to be perfectly". During high school I played every position on the field, making me one of the most versatile players out there.
Academically I average a 3.60 GPA and have never failed a class. In high school I challenge myself with AP classes and I'm still maintaining a good grade point average. In my secondary school, The Center of Science and Industry, I learn how to design, build, and fix circuits. We are encouraged to work as a team and collaborate during projects. I feel I excel in team work with the skills I have learned playing soccer. In college I would like to obtain a degree of Masters in Engineering, as well as continue my passion for playing soccer.
