Personal Statement

My goal is to attend a great university for a great education and to play soccer at a high level. I know this can only be achieved if I dedicate myself fully to my academics in the classroom, my family, friends, and teammates, as well as improving myself as an athlete on the field. Although I am confident in my ability I know I can always get better in both the classroom and on the field. After tearing my ACL last fall, what at first seemed like a major setback has actually been a vital part of my development as a person and a player. it forced me to work harder than I have ever worked before and I came back faster, stronger, and with a deeper appreciation for the opportunity to play.

Came back from acl injury midway through season, immediate starter and named captain for2nd year in a row. Retained premiership and participated in Gothia cup again.
2016 St. Paul Blackhawks (Premier)
Elected team captain by teammates and coaches, starter all year, team finished as top 2001 team in the league (3rd overall) retained premiership. Participated in Gothia cup in Sweden and went 3 - 3 as a u15 team in the u16 bracket.
2015 St. Paul Blackhawks (classic 1)
starter first season, went to state championship and lost in penalty kicks, only loss of the season. Team qualified for premier.
2014 Gitchi Gummi Soccer Club (classic 1)
3 year starter and lead all point categories each year, transferred to play for the St. Paul Blackhawks in order to face stronger competition.
