Daniel Aponte Santiago '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Daniel Aponte Santiago, I am a 2023 grad, and I play as an outside back and center mid for Shakopee High School and EPSC. I'm originally from Puerto Rico where I grew up until the age 13, age at which my family and I moved to Minnesota, where we continue to live. It was a completely new environment. It took me sometime to get used to, but I've adjusted well to the culture. I've always loved playing soccer. At the age of nine I decided that I wanted to play at the highest level possible. My focus is in college as the next step in my life where I look to grow as an athlete, as a student and most importantly as a person. My college goals are to compete at the highest athletic level and earn a degree in Kinesiology. I am a very hard worker and I'm determined to make my goals a reality.
