Prem Patwary '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Prem Patwary and I’m finishing up my Senior year at Lees Summit West Highschool (grad year 2024).  I’m committed to putting in the work in and out of the classroom to be able to continue my education and play high level college soccer. My goal is to play Pro Soccer as well as play soccer in Division one college. 

I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old and have won several awards over the years. I was born in Emporia, Ks and moved to Overland Park, Ks after completing Middle School due to my Father's job transfer. My club team is KCSG ECRL . I joined the team after my move to Overland Park in 2020. We started 2020 by playing NPL games and we will also play in regional showcases in spring as well. Currently I was also selected to represent Olympics Development Team in 2020.

Prior to high school and club soccer, I played for Legacy FC for 2.5 years and then PUMA FC for 2 years.  Those years were crucial to my development as a player and a leader and I grew so much as a player and had a better understanding about how to be a strong mid fielder.  I’m grateful for all my coaches through out my journey as they have help me understand strength be a strong player. 

My primary position is center back and my secondary positions are Defensive Mid  and Right back. I can play any position needed as well, but I chose to play in the back because I enjoy seeing the whole game and being able to communicate to anyone on the pitch. 

Over the years I have been invited to various camps in the past such as Athletico Madrid Forward and Striker camp and as well as Sporting KC development camp. I have been recently selected to participate it Arsenal FC Development camp. 

I consider myself smart, hard working, vocal, strong, and determined and I always look for opportunities to improve my performance.
