I aspire to be able to take my abilities to the next level. Realizing that college is very competitive gets me excited to step up and take on that role. I work hard on and off the field. I know that college is my gateway to being able to get a quality education and pursue my overall dreams in life. But I do have a dream to continue to play the sport I have loved since I was 7 years old as well. I have worked towards this dream of mine by trying to be better everyday that I walk onto the pitch in practice, trainings, and in competition.
As a player, my number one goal has always been to be a leader on the field. Being the goalkeeper for my team I must be able to communicate efficiently with my fellow teammates. I have learned how to do this in a better way throughout my high school career. My teammates have gained trust in my quick decision making and skills. During games I am determined to make the play, but also help others in the plays that they are making. I have the desire to win, but also to learn from my mistakes. I have had great relationships with my coaches throughout the years to better myself as a player. I look forward to having these relationships at the college level as well. I am open to feedback both negative and positive because that is something that is needed as a player.
My differences include my overall knowledge of the game, I try to watch others and take from what they can do and focus on how I can make that happen within myself. I am continuously working to keep myself in peak physical condition. I have worked in off seasons just as hard as I do during the competition season. I enjoy working with a team, but also will take time to work individually on my skills. I am a well rounded player and teammate. I try to show my character on and off the field. Not only when playing soccer, but also in my academics as well. I enjoy helping others to become better in any way that I can.
