Personal Statement
Soccer is my passion, but I value my education. I have challenged myself throughout my high school career by taking honor classes and attending St. Louis Community College. After I graduate from college, I plan on going to dental school. Since I play in the national league and have competed in the national championships I have played against the top players of my age group from across the country. This has helped me grow and improve as a player, and I know that I have the ability to be competitive at the collegiate level. I understand the commitment it takes to succeed at school and soccer which will help me have a smooth transition being a college athlete.
On the field, I am confident and have great composure with the ball. My footwork is strong, and I play with my head up which allows me to connect my passes more successfully. With my speed and footwork, I am able to bring the ball down the outside and create many scoring opportunities for my teammates. I am willing to do what will help the team be the most successful so when my high school coach said that I would be an attacking midfielder, I worked hard to learn that new position.
