To play at the collegiate level in hopes that I continue to develop as a student/athlete. I also want to always be improving my all-around game.
I have always played multiple competitive team sports including soccer, baseball and basketball. I feel that having a varied athletic background helps me develop my skills, muscles, and understanding of team sports in a more rounded way.
Soccer has been My primary sport and the sport in which I have excelled the most. I enjoy the most competitive games the best because I like rising to the occasion.
This year, my coaches have me playing holding and attacking mid, so I focused on my pass completion and winning my 50/50's. My pass completion rate is high, and I made significant progress in winning those 50/50's. I have helped my teams win in Tournament finals with my penalty kicks. I also enjoy being a play maker from the center of the field. This gives me an opportunity to set up my teammates with goal scoring opportunities. We never counted all of my assists but assisting a teammate or setting up an attack is rewarding.
I've been told by my coaches and ID camp coaches over the years that I see the field. This skill allows me to switch the field, cut to an open direction, drive a ball over-the-top, or start the play over using my defense.
I have played outside midfield, striker, holding midfielder, attacking midfield, and defense. I believe it's the coaches job to figure out where he needs me on the field and to give him my best wherever I am assigned.
I will be a Junior at CBC high school in the Fall of 2016. I play for the team that won the MO State Cup championship 2 years ago and we were finalists last year. We want to win again and then win Regionals then advance to Nationals.
