Ever since I was little I had a passion for soccer. At the age of four I played with my local club. The problem was that I lived in a town of around 2,000 people. As a result the amount of players along with skill was lacking exceptionally. Because of this I joined a club in the city of Billings, where I now currently live. For two years I traveled to this city, one hour away from me, three days a week for practice. When I reached high school I decided to move to Billings because of the non existant soccer team of my old school.
I started my freshman and sophmore year for my high school in which we have claimed consecutive fifth place finishes. I continue to play for the Billings club, Magic City in the spring. Because I live in Montana snowy winters make soccer less accessible. In the winters I play for Montana ODP and the state team Montana United. The practices for these teams take place indoors and once a month all over the state. We then travel to showcase tournaments with dreams of being seen by coaches. With taking part in all of these programs I play soccer all year long even with the environmental conditions.
In college I wish to study psychology. In particular, sports psychology to understand the mindset of an athlete such as myself. My high school career has had a gpa of 4.0. Education plays a very important part of my life which I take very seriously. In social situations I am a rather shy person, but on the field I contrast all my social characteristics. I am a vocal leader and smart player. Although I am not the most athletic on the pitch I use my knowledge of the game to succeed. I am also very adaptable. Throughout my high school career I have played center back, outside back, and center defensive midfielder. By playing these positions I see different perspectives of the game. Because of this, I use my knowledge to situate my teammates and guide them in their position as well. Soccer is my passion in life and I wish to take my career as far as I can.
