Personal Statement
I started playing soccer when I was four and their hasn't been a time since then that I haven't played. It is definitely a part of who I am. I have taken every opportunity to play and get better over the years being a member of three Montana clubs, including ODP, as well as playing all four years for my high school team. Soccer has given me the chance to travel and play all over the West as well as internationally when I was invited to play in the Donosti Cup in Spain. Looking ahead to college, I want to find the right fit academically that will also allow me to continue playing soccer in a challenging and competitive environment.
Being raised in a ranching family has taught me the value of hard work and commitment. I want to be challenged and pushed to be better because I feel there is always something new to be learned. I think my best traits are my work ethic, my "team first" attitude, and my sense of humor. I finished my final high school season with the State AA and school record in assists which I am really proud of, mostly because it highlights the type of player I am and want to continue being.
