Personal Statement
I absolutely love the sport of soccer, and have the longstanding goal to play at the collegiate level. One of the reasons that I believe I would be a good addition to any team is the dogged persistence with which I attack my long term goals. When I joined boy scouts 6 years ago, I started with the goal of becoming an Eagle Scout, an award which I have now achieved. I attack my school work with the same persistence, and have taken 9 AP courses throughout my high school career. When I realized that I wanted to play soccer at the collegiate level, I started setting specific strength goals, speed goals, and training goals, to grow into what I believe I can become. Through Boy Scouts and soccer I have developed leadership skills which have helped me to show others of the goals that they can and should set, as well as helping me to reach my own goals. I continuously strive to reach my goals, and for that reason I believe that I would be a great addition to any team.
