Personal Statement
After spending my first 3 semesters at Northland College studying and playing Men's soccer, I believe that it is time to make a change. This is driven by educational purposes, as I want to study civil engineering and they do not have that major at my current university. Additionally, I want to keep playing Men's soccer. During my time at Northland, I have made to transition from Striker to Outside back - but maintain the knowledge to play both positions well. I have essentially had two years of experience at the college level, and still have three years of eligibility (the covid year). I started 11 of the 21 games this season, and have always had the drive to work harder and harder, any time on the field, in the weight room, and in studies. This is not only shown by my current GPA which is a 3.85, but also my minutes on the field in the UMAC - totaling 1,222 for the season. I have also won the UMAC Men's Soccer Sportsmanship award for the 2020-21 season.
Above concerning GPA - on the 100pt scale, that is from my high school, while the Core GPA - 3.85 is my current GPA at Northland College.
