Connor Sanborn '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'8" defender from a town with a rich soccer history. I have been playing soccer since I was six and have always had a desire towards stopping goals! I have played rec.,school,ODP and Club (currenly U-18 premiere)and have attended mumerous camps with college coaches- most recently Duke University and University of South Florida. In 2009 I anchored my high school's undefeated regular season (19-0)as the sweeper allowing only 6 goals against. I am pursuing a strong academic school looking to major in Biology and would love to play soccer in an environment warmer than NH! My GPA is 4.17 and current SAT is 1890. My goals for this year (2010)are to help win a state championship, keep my grades up, be named to the AllState soccer team, and make a college commitment. In 2010 we went 19-0 and won the state championship, I was named to national honor society, I was named an All State player and made the Twin State Lions Cup Team for the 22 best Seniors in the state to play against Vermont. I have also been named a 2011 Scholar-Athlete NHIAA recipient by NHADA.  ***** In July 2011, I will attend the UNC Soccer Camp and will attend a post graduate year at Bridgton Academy in Maine to play soccer and take a full college course load. I am looking forward to playing for a college in the fall of 2012.
