Jared Brusco '17 Recruiting Profile

I am someone who loves the game of soccer and has dedicated my life to it. I've played since I was able to walk. I come from a family where soccer or "Calcio" is almost a religion. My grandfather played for River Plate F.C. in Argentina almost 55 years ago and it has always been my goal to follow that path. My dream has always been to be a professional player or a high level College player. The most important thing is that I play and achieve the most I'm possibly capable of. I am a central midfielder who can play multiple roles in the middle of the field, defensively and offensively depending on the team's needs. As far as experience, I have played high level club soccer since I was 10 year's old. The team I was on reached number 1 ranking in the United States and was always competing for State, Regional and National Championships. I've traveled across the country competing the highest bracket of the highest level tournaments that this country offers at club level. I was a member of the ODP regional team and regular member of the ODP state team. As a Junior in high school, I am a starter ever since my first game freshman year and I am now a captain of the team. My high school team record has improved every year since I've attended because I am a team player and will help the team anyway I can. I come from a very strong tight-knit family (mother, father, baby sister) who have always given me the maximum support. I am 5'9, 155 pounds and I plan on training hard year-round to get stronger, better and faster. I currently carry a 3.6 GPA and have always worked hard in school. I plan on attending a college that can offer a good business education and/or medical field. My best quality as a player is my passing ability and my best quality as a person is how hard I work. Any coach who recruits me or selects me will not regret their decision because I know in my heart I will prove my worth.
