Personal Statement
I was born with a soccer ball attached to my feet. I have a gift God has given me and I want to make the best of it. Ever since I was little I was told how good I was. My coaches would call me little Messi because I was small and the ball on my feet was like watching magic. I have a good soccer IQ, I could read the game excellent. I'm more of the play making type, I could create opportunities out of nothing. I'm fast, I could run for days. I'm not just fast off the ball, I'm fast with the ball too. It's as if the ball and my feet have an insuperable relationship. I like being energetic with my teammates. If we're winning I still want my team playing hard and with high intensity and I always cheer them on. I cheer them up even if we're losing too. I could control the game good, as in different types of paste. I work hard all the time no matter how much pain I'm in. I have a lot of heart and that's one of my biggest assets. I play for the name in front of my chest and not the one on my back. I am willing to do anything to help my team win. I was never the school type of person but I've dramatically changed. My grades have flipped and my GPA is getting higher and higher. It's my main focus right now and I'll make sure it only gets higher. I know how badly I've messed up my first two years. I understand you guys aren't looking just at my soccer talent but also at my grades. I know how it's the main thing for some coaches too. But I could tell you that looking into my junior year I've been more excited to kill it in school than I've ever been. I am going for all A's and if I have to go for extra help before or after school I'll go because now my grades are my priority.
