Personal Statement
My name is Felix Doebbel and I was born in Germany. I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old. I played about 4 years in Germany and about 7 years in Switzerland before I came to the United States in December 2017. I have been the captain of my teams in Switzerland for 6 seasons. Now, being in the US taught me a lot of new skills and a new way of playing soccer. I've played every position there is in soccer, always with the goal of making the team as strong as possible. My preferred position is right back with the team in front of me and the ability to go forward, but I'm very flexible and can play every defensive position. Talking about school, I have good grades and I'm very disciplined. I don't like bad grades the same as I don't like to play bad or lose. Due to several relocations with my family, I developed mental strength and adaptability. My attitude towards life is either I win or I learn. I'm 100% sure that my experience from the past years and my will to always keep learning will help any college soccer program.
Whatever comes up, soccer makes my future.
