Personal Statement

Hello my name is Raj Anandarajan. I would like to compete in college soccer to be able to play at a higher level of this sport. My main positions include right/left winger striker, and left/right midfield I've been playing for eleven years now and have captained my academy team (XAFC U19 and XAFC U20) for the past year though I am one of the youngest on the team. My other accomplishments include winning the EDP Summer Showcase in 2017 with my academy and being a finalist in the Neptune Showcase tournament in the late spring of 2017 as well. I run a 5:25 mile time and am looking to improve on that. My strengths involve my speed, dribbling, and understanding of positioning as well as passing. I am a good teammate as I try to encourage others at practice or games and I put the team first.
