Personal Statement
My Father played division 1 soccer at Manhattan College and my Mother excelled athletically until she tore her ACL in high school, being the first born of these parents I learned quickly just how important sports were. My earliest memories are of my parents teaching me how to play soccer for endless hours in the basement, kicking the ball back and forth off the walls day after day. Through the guidance of my Father as my coach I learned the ins and outs of the game and he shaped me into the player I am today. I fell in love with the game and became better and better at it. I would love to continue my athletic career at the collegiate level. Being able to play in college has been a dream of mine, a dream I've worked tirelessly to make a reality. I believe I would be able to help out any college through my hard work and leadership qualities. I am not shy about pushing my teammates and making them work harder on and off the field. I understand that in college you have to excel on the field and in the classroom. As a student I have a high GPA and no coach has or will worry about my academic life. I hope that these qualities will be able to allow me to continue my passion for the game to continue in college.
