John Becker, III '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is John Becker; I graduated from Jefferson Township High School in June 2021.  In my senior year I was unable to visit campuses, attend soccer ID sessions nor showcase my talents.  I am currently attending County College of Morris and am searching for a university that will enable me to be a valuable student-athlete.

I am currently a player with Cedar Stars Academy U19 MLS Next team and my video will show some of our recent matches.  Prior to joining CSA, I was a player with TSF Academy as well as a varsity player since my freshman year.  I have had the opportunity to travel, learn and play against teams in Spain, Netherlands, Portugal, and Argentina. 

I first started playing soccer when I was five and there was immediate love for the sport. I would always want to go to the field and play. Having this love for the game has given me the opportunity to develop; team concepts, game knowledge, and game play expectations.

I am mentality competitive and have the talent to compete at the highest level within college soccer. One of my proudest achievements is being selected for the Generation Adidas International Select team for three consecutive years. This experience has helped me develop as a player and a person. This international exposure has taught me work ethic, perseverance, flexibility, appreciation of different coaching styles and a greater understanding of the game.

I am looking to attend a college/university that will challenge me academically and athletically.
