I decided to update this statement after everything this year in 2020. I was always in constant competition with myself to better my own game for the good of my team. Now, however, I feel as if I used being home to my advantage and pushed myself to train and be in the best shape I’ve ever been in. Running, weight lifting, juggling and running drills kept me focused during quarantine and kept negative thoughts away. With the season beginning, I thought everyone would have trained as hard as I have, but that’s not the case. I am truly proud of myself for taking a bad situation and making it positive for myself While playing the sport I love. Distributing the ball, seeing the play and passing the ball are my favorite parts of the game. I still drive my mom crazy practicing my foot skills around the house everyday. My gpa is a product of my hard work in school and during virtual school which I take just as seriously as soccer. There is nothing more that I want than to play college in soccer, and it is my number one priority at this point in my life, aside from family.
