Personal Statement
Soccer is and has been my passion since age 5 and have been told that I'm a natural. I enjoy playing the game every single day. Since I am a happy kid usually with a smile on my face, I have received the nickname "Smiley" from many of the faculty at my high school, Seton Hall Prep in West Orange, NJ. Although I am a humble person, I exhibit great leadership and compassion on and off the field. With my perceptive and intuitive field IQ for soccer, I create a spark that allows many of the players around me to play much better. As a forward, I possess a gift for finding the back of the net. I am open to top quality schools that will provide a combination of challenging academics and state-of-the-art facilities. My preference for college is in the east, but I am open to schools throughout the country as well.
In June 2019, I led my former club team NJ Elite to the state cup finals which was the closest that club had come in the state competition. Unfortunately, we lost in the finals 3-2, but I had one goal and an assist. With my unwavering commitment to soccer, I'm the type of player that will stay after practice/games and work more on perfecting my skills (being the last one to leave the field). It is my goal and dream to play soccer at the college level.
