Kenny Levandoski '19 Recruiting Profile

I have been addicted to the game since the age of 4. I grew up running down the halls of my house on Saturday mornings to watch Premier League Soccer. My favorite team was Chelsea FC, admiring and aspiring to be like Didier Drogba. Ever since, I have supported Chelsea every game, through the good times and the bad. I continue to love soccer today because it provides a perfect platform for stress management, allowing me to solely focus on my feet and the ball. I have watched every game of the world cup and analyzed every play. My comprehension of the game is advanced and has helped me improve not only my playing, but others around me as well. I currently play on the Varsity Mens Soccer Team at Albuquerque Academy and Rio Rapids Scorpions 2000 Team. I am coached by Laney Kolek on my Academy team and Jason Moran for my club team. At Albuquerque Academy, I take my academics seriously and I am pursuing a major in international business, as I am currently taking 4 language courses; Japanese, Spanish, Latin, and English. I am currently playing a wing midfielder and occasionally forward. I try to emulate Kylian Mbappe's play with his explosion of speed, send balls to people in perfect scoring positions, and score goals. My love for soccer has helped my family and I create a non-profit organization called The Gift of Soccer. We collect used soccer gear from both temas and players and repurpose them to give to player who want to play but can't fully enjoy it as we do. We have made donations to Ukraine, Ecuador, Nepal, Mexico, and locally here in New Mexico.
