Like most kids, my parents signed me up for rec soccer when I was five, and it stuck. Becoming a goalkeeper happened naturally. It was the perfect fit. Later, in 6th grade, I joined my first travel soccer team and started to really improve. As a junior, I’m entering my second year as the varsity starter after earning the spot as a sophomore. I am still training every day to become the best player and teammate I can be. For me, one of the most satisfying feelings is saving a shot everyone thinks is going in and holding on to it. A college with good English, history, or political science departments is of my choosing, and good seafood nearby would be a nice bonus.
