Dear Perspective Coaches,
I have been a varsity player since 8th grade. I was honored to start many games that season, while earning a total of 6 goals and had 4 assists. As freshman starting at right wing I tallied 8 goals and 8 assists. Sophomore year I rang the bell with 9 goals and 7 assists @ left wing.
This past season after graduating 16 Seniors from the year before, I was fortunate to be named captain as a junior. While taking on much responsibility both on and off the field, the three years of experience on varsity proved very worthwhile in handling my duties. I tried my very best to lead by example, support my coaches, while also making it fun for the entire team. The experience in a leadership role was very valuable & rewarding. We ended up with a record 10-6 (same win/loss tally as year before), while most pre season polls had us winning no more than 3 games! I netted 11 goals and added 9 assists, leading the team in both categories while playing CAM (I also got fouled in the box 6 times - while having my senior teammate and co- captain take the penalty shots)
We are hoping to win our first sectional title next season in a very competitive league/section. I am also continuing to work harder in my academics trying to get my GPA to a 3.3/3.35. I play HS lacrosse in the spring and have been on varsity since freshman year. I dedicate myself in the summers by hitting the gym , attending showcases for both sports while also working full time (Monday to Friday) as a camp counselor locally. I enjoy playing two sports and truly believe it helps make me a better more well rounded athlete in both soccer and lax.
I played for many years for FC Westchester rising up the ranks to premier. Though continuing to play for my High School alongside my classmates and friends was also very important to me. I am also on an elite national lacrosse showcase team during the summer, while training and playing soccer under Sean Kenny for the Flames during the year.
I love to compete! Currently I am seeking the best fit academically, athletically/coaching, socially and for my family.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
