Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Nana-Wadieh Agyekum and I’m a 2026 graduate year Forward and a Winger from Brooklyn, New York. I currently live in Leicester, England and play for the Brooke House College Football Academy. I wear number 34.
Academics are a top priority for me. As an international student, moving to England has had a lot of benefits - cultural immersion, personal growth and enrichment, global perspective and networking with kids from all over the world. My favorite classes at BHC are typically the math and sciences.
I am a fast and agile player who can always get in behind the defense either with a long ball or simply my pace. On the wings, I can be trusted to beat my man 1on1 and either make a shot or put in a cross. I can also be trusted to make the smart pass when the situation needs it and get myself in a better position for my team and potentially score a goal.
Football has been very important to me since a very young age and I can not imagine my life without it. I would like to play football at the highest level and have always believed I have the talent necessary to achieve my lifelong dream of playing soccer at a high level.
Through college athletics, I desire to play at a high level, compete every day, make a significant difference on and off the field, and earn a college degree. After earning a degree in sciences, I would like to pursue Football.
