Training and working out helps me to focus in school and gives me confidence on and off the field to achieve the goals I set for myself. Competing against good teams inspires me to train harder and improve my skills so that I can meet the expectations of my coaches, teammates, and myself. I always put in maximum effort, whether it is in school, on the soccer field or while participating in extracurricular activities.
Over the years, I have learned the importance and benefits of hard work and a positive attitude in achieving the goals I set for myself. I feel this makes me different from other candidates because I reflect on my strengths and weaknesses and constantly aim to improve. I also recognize that I have a lot to learn and take advice from family members, teachers, coaches, and teammates as I go through my academic and soccer career. I aspire to further develop my skills and attend college and play soccer.
Soccer and a college education are very important to me. I understand the importance of teamwork and collaborating effectively with others to meet our goals. Soccer prepared me in high school to work well with others while completing school projects, debating topics, and contributing in study groups. I believe my work ethic and high school experience will prepare me to achieve academically and as a member of a college soccer team. I believe my strong work ethic, organization skills, ability to work well with others and my determination are the keys to my future success.
