Thank you for taking the time to read my personal statement.
My name is Eduardo Artacho, I was born in Brazil though I currently live in New York City, and I will graduate in 2024. I have been playing for my club Manhattan Soccer Club since I was nine. My team, MSC Wolves ECNL 2006, has been ranked as high as 20th nationally among club teams, according to gotsoccer.com.
I have a 3.92 GPA and I am searching for a highly competitive academic institution, as well as one in which I will be able to find a balance between the classroom and the pitch.
Throughout my MSC years, I have experienced different types of roles, ranging from starter to bench player. Having started on the third team at my club when I was younger, I put in time, effort, and hard work, which lead me to be a starter for the Premier team for the last three years, signifying my on and off-the-field work ethic. Having loved soccer since I can remember, I am eager about the chance to continue playing at the college level.
