My name is Michael Vinci. I am 5'10'' and 175 pounds. I completed my Freshman year at Fairleigh Dickinson University College. I scored two goals during the season. I have been playing soccer my entire life along with baseball, basketball and gaelic football. Soccer has always been my number one priority. Throughout my life I have played on many different teams at many different levels. I have played various positions including forward, midfielder and even defender. My speed has always played an important role. My club coach always referred that "I was the energy that made our offense run". He also stated that "in a single forward formation for almost all of the games that I played, I had the demanding role of generating 90% of the scoring chances, which generally resulted in goals". Soccer is more than a hobby to me, I play year round and when my teams are not practicing, I make sure I find a way onto the field. It has always been a dream of mine to play soccer in college and I am open to all different types of schools. During the regular season of my senior year in high school I finished with 10 goals and 4 assists in a 13-1-2 season. Many of my scoring opportunities are from creating space with one-two passes and a soft touch. I am left footed and my shot has been my specialty through out my career. I am one of four children. I live with my Mom and siblings. It is very important to me that I succeed in College. My mom is my biggest fan and I know she is very proud of me. I look forward to my future. I think I have an excellent personality and sense of humor. I get along well with other teammates and coaches.I feel that I will be a valuable asset to any team.
