My name is Alec Irving; I am a High School Senior. I will graduate from Putnam Valley High School, Putnam Valley, NY with the class of 2018. I currently have a 3.0 GPA and will work very hard this year to improve my GPA.
I currently play for three teams, Putnam Valley High School Varsity, where I’ve received All League, All Section. I also play for Quickstrike FC and the Mahopac Gladiators. My Mahopac coach's name is Rich Decola ([email protected]) and Mark Hatch ([email protected]), my Quickstrike coach’s name is Edward Evans ([email protected]). My High School Varsity coach is Diego Escandell ([email protected])
I have been playing on the Varsity High School team since I was a Freshman. I have started every game for all my teams and play wherever my team has the greatest need, defense, mid-field or striker positions. I have been told by my coaches, and college coaches during ID camps, that my biggest asset is my speed and fitness, which is matched by none. Last year, as a Junior I won All League and as a sophomore, I won the All League Honorable Mention award for the High School Division. I play soccer 12 months a year and train with my personal trainer at least once a week on my overall fitness level. Soccer is my life passion and when I get home from team practice I continue to practice in my back yard shooting goals at my full size net. Soccer has been a part of my life since I was 5 years old and I hope it will part of my life for years to come because my dream is to become a professional soccer player.
Other than soccer, I am currently a Life Scout with the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 49, Ossining, NY. I recently completed my Eagle Project and I am finishing my requirements for the rank of Eagle Scout by the end of 2017. Scouting has taught me leadership skills, outdoor ethics, community awareness and respect for my country.
If you are interested in more information about me, I am willing to share with you any information in order to demonstrate that I'm a good fit for your team? I look forward to hearing from you.
